Description / Scope of Work
The National Highway Authority (NHA), Sindh-South Region, invites sealed e-bids from registered contractors for special maintenance work involving the construction of a steel overhead pedestrian bridge with motorcyclist ramp near Matiari Bypass on the N-5 national highway. The project is located along the stretch from KM 181+000 to KM 182+000 on the N-5, with an estimated cost of PKR 60,574,515. This infrastructure development work falls under the C-4 and above category with specialization requirements in CE-01, CE-02, and CE-10 as per Pakistan Engineering Council standards. The work must be completed within 178 days from commencement, with a defect liability period of six months.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue as active taxpayers with valid National Tax Number (NTN) and Sales Tax Registration, and must possess valid certificate of registration with Pakistan Engineering Council in the specified categories. All participating firms are required to obtain EPADS (PPRA) registration at www.eprocure.gov.pk immediately, as manual bid submission without EPADS registration will result in disqualification. Bidders should ensure compliance with all procurement regulations and submission requirements outlined in the bidding documents.
Bidding documents containing detailed procurement terms, conditions, technical specifications, and financial requirements will be available for free download from the NHA website (www.ebidding.nha.gov.pk) on or before August 11, 2026.
