Description / Scope of Work
The Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Main Campus in Karachi, Sindh, invites quotations for passive cabling work and related materials supply under RFQ-003830-11753. The procurement includes 2,000 feet of Cat 6 UTP PVC cable (3M Giga Cable or Corning specification), 32 units of I/O modular jacks Cat 6, 8 dual shutter faceplates with metal back boxes and fitting accessories, 16 Cat 6 UTP patch cords of 1 meter length, 50 feet of 25x25 channel duct with fitting accessories, 200 feet of 1-inch flexible PVC pipe with complete fittings, 80 feet of 1.5-inch flexible PVC pipe with accessories, and labour charges for laying 2,000 feet of UTP Cat-6 cables with concealed piping including rack mounting, harnessing, and end-to-end ribbon tagging. The project location is Stores at IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi, and all materials are subject to final inspection by IBA ICT department or stores personnel at the time of delivery.
Bidders must submit quotations in accordance with IBA's standard procurement terms and conditions. The rate or item cost quoted is final with no changes permitted. Bidders should be aware that IBA reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation, issue purchase orders for single items to different lowest responsive bidders, or alter quantities without assigning reasons. General Sales Tax will be paid on applicable items only, and stamp duty at 0.35% for goods against total purchase order value will be levied. Liquidity damage at 2% per month will be imposed for delayed delivery.
Quotations must be submitted to the Purchase Department, IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi, by 12:00 PM on 29 June 2026. Interested vendors can contact the Purchase Department at telephone 0322-3553032, extension 2155, for further clarification. Payment will be made within 30 working days through crossed cheque following receipt of invoice and delivery of items. All government taxes, levies, and charges will be applied as per applicable rates and SRO regulations.
