Description / Scope of Work
The Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi invites quotations for the procurement of various sports items under RFQ-003822. This request for quotation covers the supply of thirteen categories of sporting equipment including footballs, volleyballs, basketballs, throwballs, futsal balls, lawn tennis nets, basketball nets, volleyball nets, lawn tennis rackets, table tennis rackets, snooker sticks, snooker chalk, and badminton shuttlecocks. The goods are to be delivered to the Stores at IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi, Sindh Province. Quantities range from 2 to 300 units per item, with detailed specifications provided for each product including size, weight, material composition, and recommended brand equivalents such as Mehtab/Wilson for footballs, Mikasa for volleyballs, Molten for basketballs, Yonex for tennis rackets, and Babolat for table tennis equipment.
Suppliers must submit samples of each item for mandatory quality approval prior to order placement. All quotations are subject to final approval of samples across all thirteen product categories. IBA reserves the right to cancel any items if materials do not meet specifications or if delivery is delayed. Payment will be processed through crossed cheque following receipt of invoices and delivery of materials. General Sales Tax will be applied to applicable items only, with Government taxes, levies and charges charged at actual rates per SRO. A liquidity damage fee of 2% per month will be imposed on delayed deliveries, and stamp duty of 0.35% on the total purchase order value will be levied accordingly.
Quotations must be submitted to the Purchase Department, IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi by 29 June 2026 at 12:00 PM. Interested suppliers should contact the Purchase Department at telephone 02138104700, extension 2154 for further information and to obtain bid documents. IBA reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation, issue purchase orders to different lowest responsive bidders for individual items, or modify quantities and specifications without assigning reasons. All bids must comply with stated material specifications and delivery requirements as outlined in the detailed item descriptions.
