Description / Scope of Work
The Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi invites quotations for the procurement of one mobile cricket pitch cover with roller system. The item is required for delivery at the Stores, IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi, Sindh. The specification includes a pitch cover measuring 120 feet by 50 feet in Teflon fabric of 650 GSM weight, mounted on an MS stand roller system constructed from MS rectangular pipe 4 inches by 2 inches (16 SWG) and MS round pipe 5 inches diameter (12 SWG) for the roller component. The complete assembly includes MS shaft, bearings, crank and accessories with fabrication, cutting, welding and installation services, finished with fiber wheels and protective coating of red oxide primer plus enamel paint. Samples of materials are required for quality approval before order placement.
Eligible suppliers must provide formal quotations and submit samples for approval as a mandatory condition. Payment will be made through crossed cheque upon receipt of invoice and delivery of the item at the specified location. Liquidity damage shall be levied at 2 percent per month on actual cost for any delayed delivery. Advance payment is subject to bank guarantee. All applicable government taxes, levies and charges including stamp duty at 0.35 percent will be charged as per applicable rates and SRO notifications. IBA reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation, cancel items, alter quantities, or split awards among multiple suppliers without assigning reasons.
Quotations must be submitted to the Purchase Department, IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi by 12:00 PM on 29 June 2026. The request for quotation was issued on 22 June 2026. All quotations become subject to final inspection at time of delivery and must comply strictly with the specified materials and construction standards. Bid documents should be submitted to the Purchase Department with invoices.
