Description / Scope of Work
The District Education Authority Sheikhupura invites sealed bids through E-PADS for the supply of uncooked quality food items and meals to approximately 1,130 boarding students across five government educational institutions located at Nangal Sahdan, Muridke in Punjab. The procurement covers breakfast, lunch and dinner meal provision for the financial year 2026-2027 with an estimated cost of Rs. 112.00 million. Food items required include rice, meat, chicken, vegetables, grams and other essential provisions. The five institutions are Govt. Jamia Dawa Islamia (635 students, Rs. 62.00M), Govt. Jamia Taleem-ul-Quran Girls (160 students, Rs. 16.00M), Govt. Jamia Muaz Bin Jabbal Girls (140 students, Rs. 14.00M), Govt. Suffa Education Centre Boys (125 students, Rs. 13.00M) and Govt. Suffa Education Centre Girls (70 students, Rs. 7.00M).
Bidders must be registered with income tax or sales tax authorities and hold valid business registration. Prospective suppliers should be General Order Suppliers or manufacturers of food items. Bid security equivalent to 3 percent of the estimated amount must be deposited in the form of a CDR in favor of the Chief Executive Officer DEA Sheikhupura along with an affidavit confirming the firm has not been blacklisted. All technical bids must include complete supporting documentation, valid evidence, CDR copy and compliance with tender conditions. Rates must be quoted per day per boarding student for three-time meal provision and should be inclusive of all applicable taxes as per regulatory rules.
Bidding documents can be downloaded from the E-PADS portal at https://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk. Complete bids with required documents must be submitted electronically by 8th July 2026 up to 12:00 noon through E-PADS. Technical bids will be opened electronically on the same date at 12:30 pm. In case of holiday or unavoidable circumstances, the next official working day shall be deemed the opening date.
