The Infrastructure Development Authority Punjab (IDAP), Government of Punjab, invites pre-qualification applications from eligible contractors for the establishment of Nawaz Sharif Medical District Lahore, specifically the Institute of Surgical, Orthopedic & Medical Rehabilitation Lahore. This major healthcare infrastructure development project is being procured through e-procurement methodology. The project scope encompasses comprehensive construction and establishment of a specialized medical rehabilitation institute with surgical and orthopedic facilities. The tender reference number is 2026/PQ/42. Interested contractors and construction companies may obtain detailed information and bid documents from IDAP's office located at 50 B-3, Gulberg-III, Lahore, Punjab.
Eligibility criteria require applicants to demonstrate technical and financial capacity to execute similar nature projects. Contractors must possess valid contractor registration with the relevant provincial authority, adequate financial soundness certified through bank statements and audited accounts, and documented experience of having successfully completed at least one similar construction project within the last ten years with a contract value not less than the contract value of this project. Bid security and performance guarantees as per procurement rules are mandatory. Joint ventures are permitted subject to execution of proper joint venture agreements with joint and several liability clauses. All applicants must comply with anti-corruption and fraud prevention guidelines.
Pre-qualification applications must be submitted in the prescribed format including letter of application, general information, financial statements, and details of similar projects completed and in-hand. The application should be submitted electronically through the e-procurement portal before the closing date of 14 July 2026. Opening of pre-qualification applications will be conducted at IDAP office in Lahore on the specified date.
