District Health Authority Rawalpindi invites interested bidders to participate in an open auction for the sale of old building materials and dismantling material from its heritage properties located in Rawat, Bhurban, Murree in Punjab. The auction encompasses two sites: the Zilla Council Rest House at Union Council Rawat, Bhurban, Murree, and three residential units of the Maryam Nawaz Health Clinic at UC Rawat, Murree. This demolition project is undertaken following approval from the Chief Minister Punjab for the establishment of a 50-bedded hospital and 15 new residences. Interested parties with proven experience in safe and organized demolition of buildings and material recovery are encouraged to participate in this transparent procurement process.
Eligible bidders must submit a call deposit or cash amount of Rs 30,000 per lot in the name of the Chief Executive Officer no later than half an hour before the scheduled auction time, which is 10:00 am on the auction date. The successful bidder shall deposit 25 percent of the total winning auction price on the same day before official closing hours. All applicable taxes and statutory formalities remain the liability of the bidder as per the Authority's timeline, and failure to comply will result in forfeiture of the call deposit. The auction will commence at the reserve price established according to Government Standard Operating Procedures, and any bid below the reserve price will be summarily rejected. The District Health Authority reserves the absolute right to accept or reject any offer at any stage prior to final acceptance without providing justification.
Bid documents and complete terms and conditions are available free of cost from the Planning and Development Branch of the Chief Executive Officer's office during official working hours from 0900 to 1500 hours, excluding Sundays. Site visits are permitted after publication during official hours except Sundays. The open auction will be held on July 09, 2026 at 10:30 hours at the Zilla Council Rest House, Union Council Rawat, Bhurban, Murree. Should circumstances prevent the scheduled auction, July 10, 2026 is reserved as the alternative date.
