Description / Scope of Work
The National Highway Authority (NHA), Central Zone, re-invites electronic bids for balance works of periodic maintenance involving structural overlay at risk and cost of the defaulted contractor on National Highway N-5, specifically at kilometer 1085 to 1092 (SBC section) in Lahore, Punjab. The estimated project value is PKR 205.516 million. This re-invitation notice is issued by the government authority responsible for maintaining and developing Pakistan's national highway network in the federal territory.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Income Tax Department and listed on the Federal Board of Revenue's Active Taxpayers List, with a valid Professional Engineers Council (PEC) license for the financial year 2025-26 in category C-3 or above, holding specialization codes CE-01 (Civil/Structural) and CE-10 or equivalent. The procurement method is single-stage two-envelope bidding, following standard Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) guidelines and transparency requirements.
Bidding documents are available for free download from www.ebidding.nha.gov.pk starting June 30, 2026. Electronic bids must be submitted by July 9, 2026 at 1100 hours to the NHA Central Zone office at Shahpur Interchange, Thokar Niaz Baig, Multan Road, Lahore. Technical bids will be opened the same day at 1130 hours. All prospective bidders are required to register on the EPADS platform at www.eprocure.gov.pk, as manual hard copies will no longer be accepted in future procurements.
