Description / Scope of Work
The National Highway Authority (NHA), Punjab-North Region, invites bids for repair and maintenance work of a flyover at Kilometre 128 (Thatha Bhattian Crossing) on the Lahore Islamabad Motorway, M-2, in Lahore. The project is valued at Rupees 3,898,700 and is categorized under PEC Category C-5 and Above (CE01 and CE10). This is a critical infrastructure maintenance contract managed by the NHA's Maintenance Division for the Punjab-North Region, supporting continued safe operation of this major transport corridor.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Income Tax Department, listed on the Active Taxpayers List of the Federal Board of Revenue, and registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council for the year 2026. Prospective contractors are required to submit bid security amounting to 2 percent of the Engineer's Estimate in the form of a Post Office Order or Call Deposit Receipt in favor of the National Highway Authority (Road Maintenance Fund-Security Deposit). Bidders providing unsubstantiated or incorrect information shall be subject to disqualification and legal action, and any firms with a history of default will not be considered eligible.
Bidding documents are available for free download on the NHA website at www.ebidding.nha.gov.pk, following the Single Stage Two Envelopes method of procurement. Sealed bids must be submitted at the National Highway Authority office at Shahpur Interchange, Thokar Niaz Baig, Multan Road, Lahore, on or before July 14, 2026 at 1100 hours. Technical bid opening will take place on the same day at 1130 hours in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. All firms are advised to obtain EPADS (PPRA) registration at www.eprocure.gov.pk, as manual hard copy submissions will be eliminated in upcoming procurements.
