Description / Scope of Work
A Public Sector Organization invites sealed tenders for the construction of 94 Men SM Barracks at a site near Chashma in Mianwali, Punjab. The project is estimated at 75.949 million Pakistani rupees and is referenced under Tender Notice No. 13/2026. This construction work is located in the Mianwali district of Punjab province and requires bidders to be security-wise cleared, enlisted, and prequalified with the relevant department. The tender follows a single-stage, one-envelope procedure of open competitive bidding where each bid shall comprise one single envelope containing financial and technical proposals as applicable. All bids received shall be opened and evaluated in the manner prescribed in the bidding documents.
Eligible bidders must submit a bid security equivalent to 1% of the estimated cost in the form of a CDR (Call Deposit Receipt) or Bank Guaranty from scheduled banks of Pakistan. The bank guarantee must have an expiry date of at least six months from the opening date, failing which the bid shall be rejected. Bid security must be enclosed in a separate sealed envelope clearly marked with the name of the work. Tender documents can be obtained during working hours from 0900 to 1500 hours, Monday to Friday, from the office of the Director Contracts. The issuance of tender documents shall be closed one day before the opening date.
The pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 08-07-2026 at 1000 hours. Bid submission shall commence on 16-07-2026 at 1130 hours and shall conclude on 16-07-2026 at 1200 hours. The period for completion of the work is as per the tender documents. Tender documents are also available on the website www.ppra.org.pk. The Tender Evaluation Committee reserves the right to demand analysis of quoted rates and bid viability. Incomplete proposals shall not be entertained.
