Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation invites electronic bids for the operation of one China Chakki Disk Mill at PMDC Salt Mines, Warcha in District Khushab for a period of one year. The contract encompasses sorting, grinding and packing of special powder salt, with an estimated annual production of 7,500 metric tonnes of ground salt. Additional works include special packing of salt in 25 kg and 50 kg bags for export purposes and transportation of grinding salt from the mill to the packing place up to 1.5 kilometers, including loading and unloading activities.
Bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue with active taxpayer status in both income and sales tax categories, or with the Punjab Revenue Authority with active NTN status. The bidder individual or firm should have a minimum of five years' experience operating any grinding plant and must submit relevant experience certificates or work order copies. Bid security of Rs. 300,000 in the form of a demand draft or pay order payable to Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation is mandatory. The successful bidder will be required to deposit additional security money equal to ten percent of the total contract value before agreement signing. Rates quoted must be inclusive of all taxes, and the tender will remain valid for ninety days from the opening date.
Electronic bidding documents are available free of cost on the EPADS website at http://eprocure.gov.pk. Bids must be submitted through EPADS on or before 10 July 2026 at 11:00 AM, with tender opening scheduled for the same day at 11:30 AM at PMDC Head Office in Islamabad. Original bid security must be physically submitted to the undersigned before the online submission deadline.
