Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC), a statutory corporation established under Ordinance XX of 1979, invites electronic bids for the disposal of miscellaneous scrap items lying at PNSC Head Office and Workshop West Wharf in Karachi, Sindh on an as-is-where-is basis. The disposal activity number is D9986 and covers various items including microwave ovens, ceiling fans, power supplies, battery banks, switching racks, televisions, transformers, and other electronic equipment. The scope includes approximately 25 different asset categories with quantities ranging from single units to multiple pieces, with reserve prices established for each item lot.
Bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for both Income Tax (NTN) and Sales Tax, and must be enlisted on the Active Taxpayers List of FBR. Eligible bidder types include individuals, sole proprietorships, partnership firms, and companies in various legal structures. Bid security must be submitted in the form of a pay order or bank draft in favour of Pakistan National Shipping Corporation before the bid submission deadline. Bidders must furnish an affidavit confirming that neither the firm nor its affiliated concerns have been blacklisted or debarred by any government department, autonomous body, or public sector entity.
Electronic bid documents are available on the EPADS v2.0 portal at https://vendors.epads.gov.pk/ and may be searched using Disposal Activity ID D9986. Bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS v2.0 on or before Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at 11:00 AM, with opening scheduled for the same day at 11:30 AM. Participated bidders will be automatically notified by the EPADS system regarding preliminary results, with final results to follow in due course.
