Description / Scope of Work
Municipal Corporation Faisalabad invites sealed bids from contractors and firms registered on E-PADS with active FBR and PRA registration for the removal of pedestrian bridges from Jaranwala Road and Jhang Road on the Orange Metro Line Mass Transit Route in Faisalabad and their reinstallation at three locations: Main Gate Agriculture University on Narwala Road, Gate National Textile University on Sheikhupura Road, and Samundari Road. The estimated project cost is Rs 2,00,79,000 with a 5% CDR amount of Rs 10,03,950. The scope includes complete dismantling, removal, transportation, and fixing of the pedestrian bridges at the designated locations in Faisalabad, Punjab. This is a single-stage single-envelope bidding procedure following Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority guidelines.
Bidders must be contractors or firms currently enlisted in relevant work categories with FBR and PRA registration for the financial year 2025-26. Bid documents will be uploaded electronically through E-PAD portal and manual rates are not acceptable. Bidders with a tender or bid amount quoted within 5% below or beyond the estimated cost must deposit performance security at 10% of estimated cost including CDR through Deposit-at-Call from a scheduled bank per PLG Works Rules 2017. All applicable taxes are payable at the time of payment release as per government rules.
Bid documents must be uploaded electronically through E-PAD till 17 July 2026 at 11:00 AM with opening scheduled for the same day at 12:00 PM in the Iqbal Hall MCF office.
