Description / Scope of Work
Panjnad Canal Division, Punjab, invites bids for the concrete lining of Kawani Minor from RD 00+000 to 28+390 tail. This is a major irrigation infrastructure project with an estimated cost of work of PKR 156.96 million and a project duration of 24 months. The scope encompasses extensive earthwork including barrowpit excavation, transportation, compaction of earthwork to specified standards, excavation of irrigation channels, cement plaster work, and placement of cement concrete lining using washed screened and graded stone aggregate on both bed and slope sections. The project also includes provisions for bituminous joint sealant, bitumen coating, carriage of materials from Sakhi Sarwar quarry with an average lead of 224 kilometres, dismantling of existing outlets, reinforced cement concrete work, mild steel reinforcement fabrication, and various auxiliary items such as pacca brick work, precast concrete blocks, boundary pillars, surface preparation and painting works, and jungle clearance within 100 feet of the alignment. The earnest money deposit is PKR 78,48,000.
Bidders must be eligible contractors registered with the relevant construction and engineering authorities in Pakistan. The tender is advertised according to MRS 1st Bi-Annual 2026 (01 January 2026 to 30 June 2026) for Rahimyarkhan District. All standard eligibility criteria, technical qualifications, and documentary requirements as per Pakistan Procurement Rules shall apply. Bid security in the form of a certified deposit receipt or bank guarantee is mandatory for participation.
