The Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Malakwal invites sealed bids for the award of a canteem contract for the financial year 2026-27 in Punjab. The canteem will operate at a location designated by the hospital administration, with contract duration commencing from the Letter of Award and continuing until 30 June 2027 or until a central rate contract is established, whichever occurs first. The contract period may be extended for an additional three months at the discretion of authorized officials, subject to satisfactory service delivery. This procurement opportunity is open to eligible bidders from across the province seeking to operate food and beverage services for hospital staff and visitors in Malakwal.
Bidders must deposit a call deposit of Rs 60,000 minimum as earnest money payable to the Medical Superintendent, along with a computerised national identity card, certified bank statements, and relevant enlistment certificates. The minimum qualifying bid is set at Rs 46,000 per month, and all bids must be submitted in increments of exactly Rs 2,000 or multiples thereof, neither exceeding nor falling short of the prescribed limit. Eligible candidates must possess literacy qualifications and be prepared to maintain compliance with all hospital administration directives and food authority regulations governing the supply and pricing of food items.
The successful bidder must remit one-third of the contract value within seven days of notification, with remaining two instalments due within the first fifteen days of every fourth month thereafter. A formal agreement on Rs 200 stamp paper is mandatory before possession of the canteem premises. Bid documents can be obtained from the hospital office, and sealed bids must be submitted to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Malakwal. The canteem committee reserves the authority to cancel the tender without stating reasons. All applicants must strictly adhere to prescribed food quality standards, cleanliness requirements, and the fixed price schedule; violations may result in progressive penalties ranging from Rs 1,000 to Rs 5,000 with potential contract termination.
