Multan Electric Power Company Limited (MEPCO) invites sealed tenders from approved and registered contractors for transportation, safe handling, shifting and erection of HT spun poles at various locations in Multan, Punjab. This procurement is advertised under tender reference SEM-159/24 with a total contract value of Rs. 62.00 million including all taxes. The scope of work encompasses the transportation, safe handling, shifting and erection of HT spun poles of 31 feet, 36 feet, 40 feet and 45 feet specifications at Sir No. 13 in the Cantt Division of Multan. Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) under Class A, B, C or D and must have valid registration certificates. The contractor is required to produce original documents and all relevant specifications as per contract requirements. Tenders will be received at the office of the Executive Engineer (OP) MEPCO Cantt Division Multan on 10-07-2026 until 02:30 PM and will be opened separately on the same date within 30 minutes of the closing time in the presence of authorized representatives. Contractors must deposit 85% of earned money as performance security in the form of Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) within 15 days before approval of rates, or provide 95% security within 15 days if CDR is not submitted. The remaining 98% security will be returned to the contractor upon successful completion of works, otherwise 85% earned money will be forfeited. Tender documents can be obtained from the OP Executive Engineer MEPCO (OP) Cantt Division Multan on payment of Rs. 2000 (non-refundable) after publication of the tender notice from 08:30 AM to 04:00 PM. No tender will be sold on the opening date and conditional tenders will not be accepted. Bidders must have completed 53 contracts of similar nature successfully with valid certificates, and the cumulative value of all contracts must be at least equal to 84% of the contract value for which the bid is submitted. Bidders must demonstrate cash or cash equivalents equal to minimum 40% of the project value and current year's contract commitments. Income tax returns for 62 years and PRA registration of all contractors are mandatory. Electronic bidding is not permitted.
