Description / Scope of Work
The National Grid Company of Pakistan Limited (NGC) invites sealed bids from eligible firms and bidders for the Construction and Completion of Civil Works, Erection, Stringing, Testing and Commissioning of a 220 kV double-circuit transmission line spanning approximately 58 kilometers from Mohmand Dam HPP to Jamrud (Approx 58km) and approximately 42 kilometers from Jamrud to 500/220/132kV Sheikh Muhammadi Grid Station in Punjab Province. This major infrastructure project is being executed under National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures through a Single Stage Two Envelope system, and detailed bidding documents containing all terms, conditions, technical specifications and requirements are available on NGC's website at www.ntdc.gov.pk and through the e-PADS portal.
Prospective bidders must be eligible firms or contractors with relevant experience and qualifications as defined in the bidding documents. Bid Security is mandatory and must be submitted in original format prior to the bid submission deadline. Bidders should carefully review all eligibility criteria, technical requirements, and financial specifications detailed in the tender documents available on the NGC website and e-PADS platform to ensure full compliance with tender conditions.
Bids prepared in accordance with bidding document instructions must be submitted through e-PADS on or before 20 July 2026 at 11:00 AM PST, with Bid Security submitted in original form before the deadline to Chief Engineer (MP&M) at NGC, 8th Floor, Shaheen Complex, Egerton Road, Lahore, Pakistan. Technical Bids will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM PST. The advertisement is also available on PPRA and NGC websites at www.ppra.org.pk and www.ntdc.gov.pk. NGC reserves all rights regarding rejection of bids as defined in NIT-31 of FBR 2002 Procurement Rules 2004.
