Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Tobacco Board invites qualified IT firms to bid for the design, development, deployment, testing, training, and maintenance of a centralized digital data management system. The assignment focuses on transforming PTB's current manual and fragmented data collection processes into an integrated digital platform for real-time reporting, monitoring, and analytics of crop, procurement, cess, and stakeholder data across Pakistan. The system will serve multiple stakeholder groups including cigarette manufacturers, purchasers, cess contractors, green leaf threshing units, and PTB administrative staff in Peshawar, KPK province.
The proposed system comprises role-based mobile and web applications for Android and iOS platforms, including a purchaser application for daily grower-wise procurement data submission, a cess contractor application for cess collection reporting, a GLT and cigarette manufacturer application for processing and consumption data, a PTB administrative data entry and management module, and an executive dashboard with artificial intelligence-powered analytics. The assignment duration is one month, with the selected firm reporting to PTB's Procurement Evaluation Committee.
Interested firms should obtain bid documents from PTB and submit proposals according to the specified timeline and submission procedures. Bid documents will detail technical specifications, functional requirements for all four applications, centralized database architecture, security protocols, user authentication systems, data validation rules, document upload functionalities, and performance standards. For further information regarding bid submission, eligibility criteria, bid security requirements, and tender opening dates, qualified organizations should contact Pakistan Tobacco Board directly or visit the official procurement portal.
