Description / Scope of Work
The Department of Archaeology and Museums, Islamabad invites electronic bids and proposals from individual consultants and consultant firms pre-qualified by the Planning Commission of Pakistan for undertaking the Third Party Evaluation and Validation of the Establishment of Research and Development (R&D) Centre at the Department of Archaeology and Museums in Islamabad. This project aims to promote the soft image of Pakistan through cultural heritage initiatives. The tender with reference RFP No. R&D-66/2026-Arch(P&D) covers a completion period of one month, with an earnest money requirement of 2% of the bid value. The scope of work involves evaluation and validation services for the R&D centre establishment project.
Eligibility criteria require that bidders must be pre-qualified by the Planning Commission of Pakistan and meet the technical qualifications and thresholds specified in the requirements schedule. A call deposit (CDR) or pay order amounting to 2% of the bid value in the name of the Director General, Department of Archaeology and Museums, Islamabad must be submitted with the physical bid before the online submission deadline. All bids and proposals must conform to PPRA rules and procedures.
The complete Request for Proposal (RFP) containing detailed scope of work, terms and conditions, procurement procedures and bid documents are available on EPADS at www.eprocure.gov.pk and on the DoAM website at www.doam.gov.pk. Electronic bids must be submitted on or before July 13, 2026 at 11:00 HRS with technical bids opening on the same day at 12:00 HRS through EPADS. Financial bids will be opened for bidders meeting the technical qualifications.
