Description / Scope of Work
The Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) invites sealed bids under a single stage two envelope national competitive bidding procedure for the supply and installation of a solar system at Govt. College of Technology, Rawalpindi in Punjab. The project, identified with code EE-11 and EE-08, comprises a 110kW inverter coupled with 70 kW solar panels for the institution. The estimated project value is PKR 54,81,297 with a bid security amount of PKR 474,064. Only contractors with valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration in category C-6 or above for the year 2025-26 are eligible to participate. Bidders must also be registered with the appropriate Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments and hold a valid PTIB category registration relevant to supply and installation works.
Bidders are required to submit original bid security in the form of a CDR (Call Deposit Receipt) or Demand Draft made in favour of the Principal, Govt. College of Technology, Rawalpindi. The bid security must accompany the bid document submissions and serve as proof of good faith commitment to the tender process. All bidding documents must be completed in strict conformity with the tender conditions, method of procurement, and submission procedures outlined in the detailed bidding documents. Only PEC registered firms meeting the specified eligibility criteria and financial standing requirements may submit bids for evaluation.
Bidding documents are available for free download from the PPRA portal at www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk and may also be obtained from the college office. All completed bids must be submitted electronically through the E-PADS Acquisition and Disposal System at https://puchlab.eccprocure.gov.pk before the deadline of 13 July 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening scheduled for the same date at 11:30 AM. Bidders are strongly advised to upload their bids well in advance of the closing time and not to wait until the last moment.
