NUST Islamabad invites sealed bids from reliable, experienced and financially sound manufacturers or suppliers of furniture and blinds for the purchase of roller blinds for windows in the SMME New and Old Building at the H-12 Campus in Islamabad. The procurement concerns approximately 6385.26 square feet of roller blind coverage across 185 windows. Bids must be submitted through the EPADS electronic procurement system by 15 July 2026 before 11:00 hours, with tender reference 0972/A104/NUST/LP dated June 2026. This is a single-stage, single-envelope competitive bidding process open to suppliers registered with the Federal Board of Revenue for both sales tax and income tax.
Eligibility requirements mandate that bidders must be active on the FBR taxpayer list, never previously blacklisted, and free from any litigation. Bidders must submit an undertaking on stamp paper confirming these conditions. Technical proposals must conform to specifications detailed in Annex-F of the tender document. A refundable bid security equal to 3 percent of the total quoted value must accompany each bid, along with a non-refundable bidding documents processing fee of Rs. 5,000 in the form of a pay order or bank draft payable to NUST SGI Account. Selected suppliers must provide a 5 percent performance guarantee of the purchase order amount for the warranty period and maintain a minimum one-year warranty with free repair, maintenance, and replacement coverage.
Bid documents may be obtained from the Procurement and Logistics Planning Directorate at NUST H-12 Islamabad. Hard copies of proposals must be deposited at the P&LP Directorate before the opening on the same day as electronic submission. Electronic bids will be opened at 11:30 hours in the presence of the Local Purchase Committee members and available firm representatives. The delivery timeline including installation and commissioning shall not exceed four to six weeks from the date of purchase order issuance. All payments will be made after deduction of income tax and applicable sales tax as per government rules.
