Description / Scope of Work
Central Ordnance Depot (COD) Karachi invites sealed bids from eligible and registered suppliers for the supply of general stores as per the enclosed list (Annexures A, B, C, D and E). The procurement is conducted in accordance with the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) Rules, 2004 as amended. Bidding is open to registered firms only, with bid submission deadline of 31 August 2026 at 1030 hours and opening at 1100 hours on the same date at the Local Purchase Branch, COD Karachi in Sindh province.
Only firms currently registered with Central Ordnance Depot Karachi are eligible to participate. Bidders must submit complete documentation including Sales Tax Registration Certificate, National Tax Number (NTN) Certificate, CNIC of Managing Director/Proprietor, attested bank statements for the last one year, photocopy of COD Registration Letter, and an undertaking on Rs. 100 judicial paper attested by Oath Commissioner confirming the firm is not blacklisted, has not been involved in litigation or default, and accepts all tender terms and conditions. Tender documents will be issued only to registered firms after two working days of request submission.
Technical specifications require all items to be quoted strictly as per approved Army specifications, drawings and samples. Original lab test reports are mandatory for all items excluding Paints and Dry Chemical Powder (DCP), with reports to include item name, batch number, testing agency, date and compliance status. For Paints, only original manufacturing firms cleared by IAS&C or ASID are eligible with clearance certificate required. DCP submissions must include 2 kg sealed samples labeled with firm name and batch number. Bidders must submit hard copy quotations (typed, signed and stamped on each page) and soft copy in Excel format via USB. Tender documents are available for collection from the Local Purchase Branch after request submission.
