Description / Scope of Work
The Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) through its Resident Engineer at Jinnah Hydel Power Station in Kalabagh, Mianwali District, Punjab, invites electronic bids from registered firms and contractors for the procurement of critical spare parts and hydraulic fluids on a Decade of Dams Development Project basis. The tender comprises two items: procurement of spare parts for power transformers (Tender No. JHPS/ITR/SPPT-179) and procurement of bearing oil pump, leakage oil pump and high pressure oil pump (Tender No. JHPS/ITR/LP-180). Both contracts are scheduled for completion within 90 days from the date of award. These procurement activities are essential for the continued operational efficiency of the Jinnah Hydel Power Station located in Kalabagh, Mianwali, one of Pakistan's critical hydroelectric generation facilities.
Eligibility is restricted to firms and contractors registered with the Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments and currently active on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Prospective bidders must be on the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) active taxpayers list to participate. Bid security of Rs. 110,000 is required for the transformer spare parts tender and Rs. 350,000 for the bearing oil and pump tender. All bids must be submitted electronically through the e-PADS v2.0 platform in the form of a Certified Deposit Receipt (CDR) from a scheduled bank, with the firm name clearly mentioned on the CDR. A single stage one envelope procurement procedure shall be followed.
Comprehensive e-bidding documents containing detailed terms, conditions, specifications and requirements are available to registered bidders on the e-PADS v2.0 portal at https://vendors.epads.gov.pk. Electronic bids must be submitted on or before 16 July 2026 at 1030 hours for the transformer spare parts tender and 1100 hours for the bearing oil pump tender. A copy of the CDR and one original copy of the bidding document must be submitted to the Resident Engineer, Jinnah Hydel Power Station, WAPDA, Kalabagh, Mianwali on or before the closing date and time.
