Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan Reinsurance Company Limited (PAKRE), operating under the Ministry of Commerce, invites international bids for the procurement of Non-Marine Catastrophe Excess of Loss (CAT XOL) Treaty insurance coverage for its Main Program. This is a non-consultancy services procurement conducted through an international single-stage two-envelope bidding process. The procurement covers reinsurance treaty services essential for PAKRE's catastrophe risk management and portfolio protection. The contract is being sourced from the private insurance and reinsurance sector to secure competitive excess of loss coverage. Bids are being accepted from eligible international reinsurance companies and brokers with proven experience in providing similar treaty reinsurance solutions.
Bidders must meet specified eligibility criteria including valid licensing as reinsurers or insurance brokers in their jurisdiction, demonstrated financial capacity, and technical expertise in catastrophe excess of loss treaty underwriting.
