Description / Scope of Work
Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited, a leading gas utility in Pakistan, invites bids for the supply of gas leak detectors under Tender Enquiry No. SND-2618/26. The procurement is open to both foreign suppliers and local manufacturers, with delivery required at the company's Base Stores Manga (D). The tender is issued from the company's headquarters in Lahore and covers supply of specialized equipment for gas pipeline operations across Pakistan. Bidders are required to submit technically compliant and commercially competitive offers within the specified validity period of 90 days from the closing date.
Bidders must meet eligibility criteria including valid business registration and tax compliance certificates where applicable. Foreign suppliers and local agents must submit separate price schedules as specified in Appendix-C(i), while local manufacturers use Appendix-C(ii). All bids must include a Bid Bond in accordance with clause 17 of the Instructions to Bidders, with specimen format provided as Annexure-II. The bid security ensures serious bidding and protects the company's interests. Technical evaluation will be conducted independently of financial consideration, and only technically responsive proposals will have their financial envelopes opened.
Bids comprising separate technical and financial proposals in two sealed envelopes must be submitted to the General Manager (Procurement) at Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited, 1st Floor, Gas House, 21-Kashmir Road, Lahore, Pakistan, on or before 03 August 2026 by 1430 hours. Public opening of technical proposals will occur at 1500 hours on the same date.
