Benazir Bhutto Shaheed DHQ Teaching Hospital Abbottabad invites electronic bids through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (e-PADS) for the procurement of various items and services during the financial year 2026-27 under single stage single envelope bidding methodology. The procurement includes thirteen categories of items spanning laboratory chemicals, kits, reagents and apparatus; provision of lab chemicals with equipment on reagent rental basis; bedding and clothing; disposable items including ECG rolls, dental needles, cartridges, surgical blades and dialysis related items; spare parts for medical and surgical equipment; medical gases including oxygen, nitrous oxide and CO2 cylinders with liquid oxygen gas per cubic meter; boiler chemicals and washing items; stationery; printing and publication materials; miscellaneous contingent and sanitation items; local purchase of medicines, vaccines and surgical disposables from regular budget and HMC fund; medicines and vaccines for admitted patients under Sehat Sahulat Plus Program; and medicines, vaccines and surgical disposables for Zakat patients. The total estimated value of all items is approximately Rs. 1,340,000. The procurement location is Abbottabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Eligibility criteria require vendors to be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue and financially sound with verified credentials. For items 11, 12 and 13 relating to medicines and vaccines, bids are invited exclusively from registered chemists and druggists possessing valid retail drug licenses and certificates from the respective provincial health authorities. Bidders must submit original call deposit receipts for each item before bid opening. A bid security instrument is mandatory, and all required documents must be scanned and uploaded through e-PADS.
Bids must be submitted electronically through e-PADS on or before 15 July 2026 at 12:30 PM, with electronic opening on the same day in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. Bid documents containing detailed terms, conditions and specifications are available on the e-PADS portal at https://eprocure.gov.pk. The quoted rates shall remain valid until 30 June 2027 or until finalization of the tender for the next financial year. The competent authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
