Dr. Ruth K.M. Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi invites electronic bids through the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposable System (EPADS) for the supply of six categories of items for the financial year 2026-27. The procurement includes uniforms and protective clothing, general store items such as sundries and electrical supplies, appliances, crockery and stainless steel wares, diet-enteric feeding and food supplements, printing articles, and stationery articles. The hospital is located in Karachi, Sindh, and operates as Pakistan's largest public sector teaching hospital. This is a single-stage one envelope tender procedure under Rule 46(1) of the Sindh Public Procurement Rules 2010.
Bidders must register themselves on the EPADS System at https://sindh.eprocure.gov.pk to submit electronic bids. A bid security of 2.5 percent of the total quoted price is required for all tender items, with a bidding document cost of Rs. 5,000 for each tender. Interested suppliers, firms, manufacturers, importers and authorized distributors on the active taxpayers list of FBR or SRB are eligible to participate in this procurement.
Bidding documents are available for download from the portal from 29 June 2026. Electronic bids must be submitted on EPADS by 10:00 AM on 16 July 2026, with opening scheduled for the same day at 12:00 noon at the office of the Medical Superintendent on the 2nd Floor, Board Room.
