Description / Scope of Work
The Institute of Business Administration, Karachi invites quotations for wall paneling and sliding board renovation works at its Main Campus located on University Road, Karachi, Sindh. This is a building renovation project with reference number RFQ-003854, issued on 30 June 2026. The scope of work involves renovation-building activities as detailed in the attached Bill of Quantities and Layout plans. Quotations must be submitted by 2 July 2026 at 3:00 PM. The work will be executed at the Stores facility of IBA Main Campus, and all materials are subject to final inspection upon delivery. Site visit is mandatory for all prospective bidders before submission of quotation, scheduled for 12:00 PM on Wednesday, 1 July 2026.
Eligibility requirements include mandatory site inspection prior to bid submission. Bidders must provide quotations strictly as per the attached BOQ and Layout specifications. Standard Sales Tax at applicable rates will be charged on all works. Payment will be made through crossed cheque upon receipt of invoice and delivery of completed works. IBA reserves the right to cancel orders if materials do not conform to specifications or if delivery is delayed. Liquidity damage at the rate of 2% per month will be imposed for delayed delivery. Advance payment is subject to bank guarantee. All government taxes, levies, and charges will be applied as per applicable rates, with stamp duty at 0.35% levied on the total purchase order value.
Bid documents can be obtained from the Purchase Department, IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi, PAK, contact number 0213-8104700 Extension 2154. Completed quotations must be submitted to the Purchase Department. IBA reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation without assigning reasons, to issue separate purchase orders to different lowest responsive bidders for individual items, and to change, alter, or remove any item or adjust quantities as deemed necessary. The rate per item is final with no changes permitted. Government taxes including income tax and stamp duty will be charged as per the applicable SRO denominations.
