For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
Bank of Punjab seeks a contractor for a medium-scale renovation project valued at Rs.
16.8 million in Vehari. The 45-day completion timeline is tight given the project scope. Bidders must understand that full tax inclusion is mandatory and non-negotiable; pricing without GST and income tax will trigger automatic rejection. This is a one-off contract, not a framework arrangement, and requires strict compliance with PPRA two-envelope procedures. The 2% bid security represents a meaningful commitment, roughly Rs. 337,000.
Who can bid: The notice does not explicitly state PEC category or registration requirements. Typically, construction contractors must hold valid PEC registration (Category C-1 minimum for renovation work), active NTN and SECP registration, and possess relevant experience in building renovation. Bank clients may require financial audits and certificate of payment of all taxes.
