Description / Scope of Work
The Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi invites quotations for the supply of wall and floor porcelain tiles for toilet facilities at its main campus. This Request for Quotation (RFQ-003855) covers the procurement of two types of porcelain tiles, specifically 12 inch by 24 inch full glazed matt tiles measuring 30 by 60 centimetres in dimensions. The first item comprises 67 square metres of tiles with code OCY-3603 in White Horse make or equivalent, while the second item consists of 49 square metres of tiles with code OCY-3605 also in White Horse make or equivalent. The total procurement scope encompasses 116 square metres of high-quality porcelain tiles for delivery to the Stores facility at IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi, Sindh province. The order is conditional upon approval of mandatory samples submitted by bidders for quality verification purposes.
Prospective suppliers must ensure that all quoted materials meet the exact specifications outlined in this tender document. Sample submission is mandatory and the entire order remains subject to sample approval before execution. Bidders should note that IBA reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation without assigning reasons, and payment will be made through crossed cheque only after receipt of invoices and delivery of items. Advance payment is subject to bank guarantee, and all government taxes including income tax, General Sales Tax, and stamp duty at 0.35% will be charged as per applicable rates and statutory regulatory orders.
Quotations must be submitted to the Purchase Department, IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi by 2 July 2026 at 12:00 PM. Interested suppliers should contact the Purchase Department at telephone number 02138104700, extension 2154 for further clarification. Material will be subject to final inspection at delivery, and late delivery will attract liquidity damages at 2% per month on the actual order value. The quoted rate per item is final with no changes permitted, and IBA reserves the right to award the purchase order for any single item to different lowest responsive bidders.
