Description / Scope of Work
Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited invites bids for the award of an annual contract for transportation and haulage of steel line pipe, material, machinery and equipment on an as-and-when-required basis using trucks, trailers, cranes and lifters. The tender reference is TPT/MGA,KHI&MUL/PIPE/M&E/002/26 and covers multiple locations including Karachi and Multan in Pakistan. The successful contractor will be responsible for arranging cranes, lifters, trained labor and all necessary equipment for safe loading and unloading of materials at dispatch and destination sites in strict compliance with the company's HSE policy. Bidders must submit quotations inclusive of all government taxes and duties except Provincial Sales Tax, valid for a minimum of 120 days from the tender opening date.
Eligibility requirements mandate that bidders must have a minimum of five years of experience in the haulage business. Applicants are required to own a fleet of at least 25 trailers or trucks and 2 cranes or lifters, with complete ownership documentation and registration books provided as proof. References from national and multinational entities with whom the bidder has previously contracted are required for verification. Failure to submit complete eligibility documents will render the offer non-responsive. A bid bond in the form of a bank draft or pay order as per tender clause 3 must be submitted with the technical proposal, and a tender document fee of Rs. 2,500 must be paid separately.
Bids are invited on a single-stage two-envelope system comprising separate technical and financial proposals. Quotations must be submitted online through the Federal PPRA E-PADS portal on or before 21 July 2026 at 1500 hours, with public opening scheduled for 1530 hours the same day. Hard copies should also be submitted through courier or by hand to the registered office at 21 Kashmir Road, Lahore. All bids received after the closing date and time will not be considered as per PPRA Rules.
