Description / Scope of Work
The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation invites sealed bids through the Sindh E-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (EPADS) for an annual contract to repair, maintain, and service the Historical Clock Tower machine located at KMC Head Office Building on M.A Jinnah Road, Karachi, Sindh. The scope of work includes annual maintenance of the historical clock tower machine and provision and fixing of all required parts and items for the period of 12 months during fiscal year 2026-2027. The estimated cost of the contract is Rs. 3.00 million on offer rate basis. This tender is open to reputable firms with relevant experience in similar maintenance work and duly registered with applicable authorities.
Bidders must meet specified eligibility criteria as outlined in the bidding documents. The bid security requirement is 5 percent of the estimated cost, to be submitted as a pay order or bank guarantee issued by a scheduled bank operating in Pakistan in favor of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, valid for at least six months. The non-refundable bidding document fee is Rs. 2,500 per tender. All bids must be substantially responsive and strictly comply with eligibility and evaluation criteria prescribed in the bidding documents, with only responsive bids considered for financial evaluation.
Interested bidders may download bidding documents from the EPADS portal at https://sindh.eprocure.gov.pk. Online bids must be submitted by 3:00 p.m. on 16-07-2026, with opening scheduled for 3:30 p.m. the same day. In addition to online submission, the original bidding document fee must be submitted as a pay order to KMC's office by the stipulation deadline. If no bids are received or all bids are non-responsive, bids shall be re-opened on 06-08-2026. The tender validity is 90 days, extendable up to 180 days under SPP Rules 2010 as amended.
