Description / Scope of Work

Open sealed tenders are invited from reputed manufacturers and stockists registered with the Sales Tax Department for the procurement of specialized testing and laboratory equipment on FOR Islamabad basis. The tender notice covers three items: Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge (Tender 30/2026), Purchase, Installation and Commissioning of Automated Ultrasonic Immersion Testing System (Tender 31/2026), and Miscellaneous Machines with Accessories (Tender 32/2026). All tenders must be accompanied by a tender fee of Rs. 2000 per item and are scheduled for opening on 22 July 2026 at 11:00 AM, with tenders received up to 10:30 AM on the same date. The procurement is being conducted by the Head Procurement office in Islamabad, Federal province, with a tender validity requirement of 60 days from the opening date.

Eligibility criteria require that participating firms be registered with the Sales Tax Department and possess their own offices equipped with telephone and fax facilities. Bidders must have a demonstrated track record of successfully supplying similar stores against past orders; tender documents will not be issued to firms unable to provide such evidence. A mandatory earnest money deposit of 2 percent of the total order value (including GST) must accompany each tender in favor of Director Finance, P.O. Box No. 1482 Islamabad. Tender fee must be submitted by bank draft or pay order only; cash payments are not accepted.

Detailed specifications and terms and conditions can be obtained from the undersigned by written request on firm letterhead accompanied by the prescribed bank draft. Tender documents can be dispatched via courier, fax, or email, and the original bank draft must be received in the office one day before the opening date. The last date for issuance of tender documents is also one day prior to opening. Tenders containing cutting or overwriting shall be rejected. Payment will be made only after satisfactory inspection and receipt of complete stores. The competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotations.
