Walton Cantonment Board Lahore invites sealed electronic bids from original manufacturers, authorized distributors, suppliers, and contractors for the supply of medicines to Cantonment General Hospital. The procurement is conducted through the E-PADS portal of the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority under a single stage single envelope e-bidding system. Bidders must be registered with the Income Tax and Sales Tax departments and must offer maximum discount on retail price. The tender is open to suppliers in Punjab, with submissions accepted online only through the PPRA e-procurement portal at www.eprocure.gov.pk. No hard copy tenders will be issued or entertained for this medicine supply contract.
Eligible bidders must possess a valid Central Drug Sale License issued by the Ministry of Health, be registered on the active taxpayers list of the Federal Board of Revenue, and submit 2% bid security in the form of an original call deposit before the closing date and time. All government taxes will be deducted as per prevailing policy. The Cantonment Board reserves the right to demand analysis of quoted rates to verify reasonableness and workability. Suppliers must ensure that all medicines are of standard quality, properly branded as prescribed, and have sufficient remaining shelf life. Smuggled medicines and preparations not registered with the Ministry of Health will neither be stocked nor supplied, and punitive legal action will be taken for any substandard or spurious supplies.
Online bids must be submitted by 1200 hours on 20 July 2026 and will be opened electronically on the same day at 1230 hours on the portal, allowing contractors to view the comparative statement online. Approved contractors must execute the contract on non-judicial stamp paper within fifteen days of receiving approval from the Competent Authority. Supply orders shall be issued subject to Competent Authority approval, and tender rate validity is twelve months.
