Description / Scope of Work
The Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC), Islamabad invites sealed tenders for the laying of main sewerage pipeline at the National Agricultural Research Centre (NARC) located at Park Road, Islamabad. This civil works project encompasses the complete installation of sewerage infrastructure including all labor, material, scaffolding, tools, plant and equipment. All applicable taxes are included in the quoted rates as per the terms and conditions specified in the tender documents. Bidders must submit complete quotations covering the full scope of work; partial bids will be rejected as non-responsive. The project is valued on an item rate basis with detailed bill of quantities provided to all prospective contractors.
Bidders must satisfy themselves of the correctness and sufficiency of their tender and rates by visiting the site and thoroughly understanding the nature and type of the job at their own cost. Each bidder shall furnish tender security equivalent to 3 percent of the total contract value in the form of a bank draft or pay order made payable to the National Agricultural Research Centre, Islamabad. Acceptable tender security must accompany all submissions; tenders without acceptable security will be rejected. The tender security may be forfeited if a bidder withdraws during the validity period, fails to sign the contract after award, or does not accept price corrections.
Bidders must upload and submit bidding documents through EPADS and submit hard copies of sealed bidding documents physically on or before 09-07-2026 up to 11:00 a.m., which will be opened publicly at 11:30 a.m. in the office of the Director, Works and Estate Management at NARC, Islamabad. Tenders remain valid for three calendar months after the opening date. The work must be completed within 45 days from the date of commencement.
