Description / Scope of Work
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Directorate of Sports, invites sealed bids from authorized distributors, dealers, and suppliers for the supply of sports material during the financial year 2025-26. The procurement is for a single lot of sports material with an estimated cost of Rs. 3,025,800. The university is located in Bahawalpur, Punjab, and seeks to procure various sports equipment and materials as detailed in the tender documents. The successful bidder will be responsible for supplying all specified items within the agreed timeline as per the bidding documents and terms of contract.
Eligible bidders must be firms, companies, sole proprietors, general order suppliers, or joint ventures registered with relevant authorities including Income Tax, Sales Tax, and Punjab Sales Tax departments. Bidders must not be blacklisted by the Procuring Agency or the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA), and should not have been previously associated with consultancy services for preparation of procurement specifications. Government-owned enterprises may participate only with proper legal authorization. A bid security of 2% of the estimated cost (Rs. 60,516) must be submitted in the name of the Treasurer IUB on E-PADS in unhidden photocopy format, with original hard copy submitted at the Directorate of Sports, Baghdad Campus within one day of the closing date.
Tender documents containing detailed specifications, terms, and conditions are available for download from the IUB website www.iub.edu.pk, the PPRA website www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk, and on EPADS. Bids must be submitted on or before 22 July 2026 by 11:00 AM through the EPADS portal, with opening scheduled for 11:30 AM on the same day. Single Stage Two Envelope bidding procedure will be followed as per PPRA Rules 2014. All rates must be quoted inclusive of taxes, and a copy of the paid bank challan for professional tax must be provided.
