Description / Scope of Work
The Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) through the Allai Khwar Power Station in Battagram district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites sealed tenders from registered manufacturers and authorized distributors for two items under the Decade of Dams initiative. The first work (P51176) covers services required for remote terminal units (RTU) configuration with SCADA system, installed by M/S Andritz Hydro Austria, for telecommunication signals to ISMO Islamabad at Allai Khwar power station, with completion within 60 days from work order issuance and a bid security of Rs. 100,000. The second work (P50714) pertains to 250kVA Station Service Transformer for 132/220 KV Allai Switchyard and 01 No. distribution transformer for Allai Weir site, with 120 days completion from purchase order and a bid security of Rs. 700,000. Both items are critical infrastructure components for the hydropower facility in Battagram.
Eligibility is restricted to registered bidders available on EPROCUREMENT System (www.eproclare.gov.pk), and all interested parties must be listed in the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of Federal Board of Revenue or possess valid sales tax and income tax registration certificates. Bid security must be submitted in the form of CDR, DD or Pay Order in favor of A.K. HYDEL POWER AGENCY or may be dispatched via Leopard Courier Service (LCS) to the office address. Each bidder must furnish a hard copy of bid security before opening; bidders in original envelopes will be processed through single-stage one-envelope procedure. Original bid security must reach before bid closing date and time.
Bid documents are available on EPROCUREMENT (www.eproclare.gov.pk) containing all terms, conditions, specifications and requirements for registered bidders. Electronic bids must be submitted on EPROCUREMENT by the specified date and time. Opening of bids will occur on the same day at 1130 hrs and 1200 hrs in the Conference Room at Allai Khwar Power Station WAPDA office. Bid closing date is 22 July 2026 at 1130 hrs (1200 hrs), with opening on the same day. Hard copy of bidding documents may also be obtained from the office.
