General Headquarters Signals Directorate Rawalpindi invites sealed bids for procurement of information technology based equipment and telecommunications infrastructure materials for the financial year 2026/27 on a Rawalpindi basis. The tender encompasses a comprehensive range of 35 items including aerial optical fiber cables in 4, 6 and 12 fiber configurations, aerial cables with varying pair counts from 10 to 50 pairs, PVC cables, PCM cables, installation hardware such as faceplates and back boxes, PVC pipes and fittings, tapes, cable ties, and power cables. Bidders must be original manufacturers, authorized distributors or contractors registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax authorities, and must be security cleared and registered with reputed government departments including Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Defence Production or Ministry of Information Technology.
Eligibility criteria require participating firms to be duly registered with tax authorities and government institutions, with security clearance from relevant departments. Bidders must obtain bidding documents from General Headquarters Signals Battalion Quarter Master Branch located at Adayala Road Rawalpindi on any working day by submitting a non-refundable bank draft of Rs 10,000 in favour of the General Headquarters Signals Directorate. No refurbished items are permitted, and partial bidding is strictly prohibited for items listed from serial 15 to serial 35. Firms found contradicting prescribed rules will face disqualification.
Tenders must be submitted with sealed brochures and samples by 1030 hours on 14 July 2026, with technical proposals opening at 1100 hours on the same date. Financial bids will be opened subsequently in the presence of bidder representatives following technical evaluation.
