General Headquarters Signals Directorate Rawalpindi invites sealed bids for the procurement of information technology based equipment for the financial year 2026/27 on Rawalpindi basis. The tender encompasses nineteen items including optical fiber cables in various configurations (48, 96, and 24 fibres single mode and double sheath types), electrical cables, HDPE pipes, Cat-6 cabling infrastructure, fiber optic distribution frames (OFDF), joint kits, patch cords, GI pipes, warning tape, and related network accessories. Bidders must be original manufacturers, authorized distributors, or registered contractors with valid Income Tax and Sales Tax registration, and must possess security clearance along with registration from reputed government departments including Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Defence Production, or Ministry of Information Technology.
Eligibility requirements mandate that participating firms must be security-wise cleared and registered with recognized government institutions. Bidders are required to provide sealed tender documents accompanied by product brochures and samples submitted by the stipulated deadline. The tender fee, which is non-refundable, amounts to Rs 10,000.00 (Rupees Ten thousand only) and must be submitted as a bank draft in favour of the General Headquarters Signals Directorate. No refurbished items are permitted to be quoted, and firms found contradicting prescribed rules face disqualification. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids without requirement to justify the grounds for rejection.
Bidding documents containing detailed terms and conditions are available from General Headquarters Signals Battalion Quarter Master Branch at Adayala Road Rawalpindi on any working day upon provision of the required tender fee. Sealed tenders must be submitted by 1030 hours on 14 July 2026 (Tuesday), with technical proposals opening at 1100 hours on the same date.
