Description / Scope of Work
Pakistan State Oil Company Limited (PSO) invites quotations for Annual Preventive Maintenance, Emergency Support, and Supply/Installation of Fire Alarm System Components at PSO House, Clifton, Karachi, Sindh. The contract period is from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027. The existing fire alarm system comprises Gent by Honeywell equipment including 2 controller panels, 1 repeater panel, 600-650 smoke detectors, 10-15 heat detectors, 50-60 sounders, and 50-60 manual call points. The scope covers comprehensive preventive maintenance with system diagnostic reporting, cleaning of all devices, functional testing of detectors and sounders, inspection and tightening of terminations, physical tagging, and complete addressing and programming. The vendor must deploy a minimum team of four qualified personnel per PM cycle, with two supervisors maintaining complete system knowledge throughout the contract period. Each PM cycle must be completed within 10 calendar days. The vendor shall provide all required tools and equipment including minimum two ladders on site. Fault handling, repairs, minor wiring modifications, and addition of devices up to 5% of total system quantity are included in vendor scope. All activities must comply with applicable NFPA standards (NFPA 72) and relevant local regulations.
Quotations must be submitted by 20 July 2026. The vendor must ensure system reliability, safety, and full compliance with contractual obligations. A detailed system report with loop-wise and floor-wise addressing details must be provided upon completion of each PM cycle. The vendor shall arrange repair teams for any faulty equipment identified and provide temporary backup equipment before removal if off-site repair is required. Activities will not be permitted if team size is below the required minimum of four personnel.
