Description / Scope of Work
The Punjab Employees Social Security Institution (PESSI), operating through Social Security Teaching Hospital on Multan Road in Lahore, invites sealed electronic bids for a rate contract for the purchase of accessories and spare parts for bio-medical equipment during the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is conducted through the E-Procurement system (E-PADS) under the Punjab Procurement Authority regulations. The tender covers the supply of various bio-medical equipment accessories and spare parts as detailed in the technical specifications and schedule of requirements provided in the bidding document. The procurement is open to all registered suppliers, original manufacturers, and authorized sole agents of foreign principals in Pakistan who meet the eligibility criteria.
Eligible bidders must be registered with relevant authorities including PPRA/EPADS, DRAP, and tax departments (Income Tax, Sales Tax, and Punjab Sales Tax). Bidders must not be blacklisted by PPRA or PESSI, must possess valid authorization from foreign principals or manufacturers, and should not have conflicts of interest with the procuring agency. Government-owned enterprises may participate only if duly authorized by their competent authority. All bidders are required to submit a bid security equivalent to 2 percent of the estimated price of quoted items in the form of a bank guarantee or call deposit receipt in favor of the Medical Superintendent.

Bids must be submitted electronically through the E-PADS portal before the closing date and time of 15-07-2026 at 11:00 AM. Bid security must be submitted to the Office of the Deputy Medical Superintendent, Equipment, on or before the closing date. Hard copies of bids will not be accepted.
