Description / Scope of Work
C&W Division Kohistan Upper is inviting competitive bids for the procurement of civil works to address emergent nature work during the financial year 2026-27 in District Kohistan Upper, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The project scope encompasses removal of snow, landslide remediation, and slip prevention works on C&W roads and related infrastructure as identified by the Engineer-in-charge. The estimated contract value is Rs. 5.00 million, awarded on a fixed lump sum cost basis under Annual Operation, Maintenance & Repair (AOM&R) funds. The Bill of Quantities specifies earthwork including rehandling of gravel and excavated rock, transportation of earth materials, foundation excavation, plain cement concrete work at specified ratios, random rubble masonry in cement-sand mortar, and filling and compacting of soil and boulders behind retaining walls. This procurement follows the standard bidding format for smaller contracts under Rs. 100 million as notified by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Regulatory Authority.
Bidders must possess relevant experience and technical qualifications to undertake civil construction and emergency maintenance works in challenging mountainous terrain. Bid security requirements and contractor qualifications shall be as specified in the standard bidding documents. Contractors are required to quote cost factors and premiums for non-scheduled items not covered in the detailed Bill of Quantities, with reference to MRS-2025 (Master Rate Schedule 2025) and applicable location factors including the 14 percent location factor for Kohistan Upper district.
