Description / Scope of Work
Tehsil Municipal Administration Mardan, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites sealed bids through EPAD for the supply, installation and commissioning of road solar lights at various union councils in Mardan district including Chamtar, Ghalla Dher, Mohabbat Abad, Maho Dheri and Toru. The estimated cost of the project is PKR 50 million with an earnest money requirement of PKR 1 million. This developmental scheme aims to improve street lighting infrastructure across multiple locations in Mardan by deploying solar-powered lighting solutions that are environmentally sustainable and cost-effective for long-term municipal operations.
Bidders must be approved and registered government contractors or firms registered with PEC, KPPRA, LCB LGE and RDD in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with renewed licenses for the current financial year. The firm or contractor must possess specialized PEC codes EE-11 in categories (i), (ii), (iii), (iv), (v) and (xiv) to be eligible for participation. Bid security and additional security must be submitted in accordance with KPPRA Notification No. S.R.O (14)/Vol: 1-24/2021-22/6058-71 dated 10.05.2022. Sealed bids must arrive on or before 21 July 2026 at 11:30 AM and will be opened the same date at 12:00 PM in the presence of bidders' representatives by the tender committee. Bid documents should include the original CDR, earnest money or additional security as CDR, detailed rate analysis if applicable, fresh LCB registration, KP Revenue Authority certification, NTN and Income Tax Certificate. Work order will be issued subject to fund availability. All electrical works must undergo technical vetting and approval by the Assistant Engineer of the Local Council Board, and all electrical items must be tested and certified by government-approved laboratories prior to installation.
