District Headquarter Hospital Khanewal invites sealed bids on a package-wise basis for the supply of medical and non-medical items under framework procurement contracts for the fiscal year 2026-2027. The procurement covers five packages: L.P medicine and surgical items (budget 30 million), biomedical gases (30 million), dialysis items and accessories (20 million), stationery items (2.5 million), and printing items (6 million), with a combined estimated value of approximately 88.5 million Pakistani rupees. The hospital, located in Khanewal, Punjab, seeks to establish framework contracts to ensure reliable supply of essential medical consumables and operational materials to support its healthcare delivery services.
Bidders must be registered with E-PAD Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) PPRA Punjab, Income Tax, and Sales Tax authorities. All bidders, including associations of firms, companies, sole proprietors, general order suppliers, and joint ventures, are eligible to participate provided they are not blacklisted by any procuring agency in Pakistan. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security of two percent of the estimated price in the form of Certified Deposit Receipt (CDR), bank guarantee, demand draft, or pay order. Government-owned enterprises may participate only if duly authorized by their respective competent authorities. Bidders should not have been engaged by the hospital in providing consultancy services for preparation of specifications or design documents related to these procurements.
Bids must be submitted online through the EPADS PPRA Punjab portal before 10:00 A.M on July 20, 2026, with tender opening scheduled for 10:30 A.M on the same date in the presence of bidders' representatives. Bidders are advised that all procurement procedures shall be conducted in accordance with the Punjab Procurement Authority Act 2009 and Punjab Procurement Rules 2014, with the PPRA rules taking precedence in case of any conflict with bidding documents.
