Description / Scope of Work
The Municipal Committee Farooqabad, District Sheikhupura, Punjab invites tenders from eligible engineering firms and contractors for the re-construction of Nallah from Eastern Railway Crossing to Neil Wala Kharkhana Approach Road in Farooqabad. The estimated cost of the project with PST is Rs. 2,064,614. This civil infrastructure work involves dismantling of brick bat structures, excavation in open sections, concrete casting at various ratios, brick bat filling and pressing, cement plaster work, plain cement concrete and reinforced cement concrete slab construction, and steel reinforcement. The Bill of Quantities comprises eight major items including dismantling of brick bat (1643 cft), excavation (3832 cft), cement concrete work (1278 cft), brick bat work (3012 cft), plaster (4015 sft), PCC (251 cft), RCC slab (63 cft), and steel reinforcement (193 kg), with a deduction for old material recovery valued at 1368 cft.
Intending contractors and firms must possess valid registration with Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category and codes to be eligible for participation. All bidders are required to register on the Punjab PPRA website at www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk and upload earnest money in the form of CDR (Crossed Demand Draft) at 5 percent of the estimated bid cost in favor of the Chief Officer Municipal Committee Farooqabad. The CDR must be submitted half an hour before the tender opening date and time; failure to do so will result in disqualification. Contractors submitting false information or fabricated documents will be disqualified and blacklisted from participating in future C&W Department tendering processes, with recommendations made to PPRA and PEC for appropriate action.
Bidders may obtain the tender documents and bid forms from the office of the Chief Officer Municipal Committee, Farooqabad. Online bids must be filled and uploaded on the PPRA website with item rates filled simultaneously. The tender opening will take place on 20th July 2026 at the office of Chief Officer Municipal Committee Farooqabad in the presence of an authorized Tender Opening Committee.
