Tehsil Head Quarter Hospital Chichawatni invites sealed bids for the local purchase of medicines and disposable surgical items on SSP funds for the financial year 2026-2027, extendable for three months from July to September 2027. This tender is open to interested firms, agencies, and distributors of repute with financially sound backgrounds involved in institutional pharmacy business, chain of pharmacies, or medical stores operating in Chichawatni and Sahiwal District. The estimated contract value is PKR 15,000,000 with separate bids required for multinational company medicines, national company medicines, and disposable surgical items on the basis of maximum discount from retail price. Bidding will be conducted through the Punjab e-Procurement System online platform.
Eligible bidders must possess a valid retail drug sale license on Form 9, be registered Category-A pharmacists with current renewal certificates, hold valid sales tax and income tax registration certificates, and be located within Sahiwal District as per latest L.P Guidelines 2026. Bidders must provide a bid security of 2% of the estimated amount in the form of CDR, pay order, or demand draft from any scheduled bank of Pakistan. Additional mandatory requirements include CNIC copy, bank statements for the last one to two years, affidavit confirming no blacklisting or penalties under the Drug Act 1976 or DRAP Act 2012, experience certificates from public institutions, free replacement and warranty certificates, and price reasonability documentation.
Bidding documents are available through the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority website at www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk or from the office of the Medical Superintendent. Bids must be submitted online via the Punjab e-Procurement System with closing at 10:00 AM on 18 July 2026 and opening at 10:30 AM the same day at the hospital office in Chichawatni. Bidders are required to submit their best and final prices as no post-bid negotiations are expected. Taxes will be deducted per applicable government rules.
