Tehsil Head Quarter Hospital Chichawatni invites sealed bids from interested firms, agencies, pharmaceutical distributors, and medical stores with valid retail drug sale licenses for the local purchase of medicines and disposable surgical items for the financial year 2026-2027, extendable for three months from July 2027 to September 2027. The tender is issued for Chichawatni, Sahiwal District, Punjab with an estimated contract value of PKR 9,000,000. Separate bids will be evaluated for multinational company medicines, national company medicines, and disposable surgical items based on maximum discount from retail price. Bidding will be conducted under the Single Stage-Two Envelope procedure as per Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 amended up to March 10, 2021.
Eligible bidders must be institutional pharmacy businesses, pharmacy chains, distributors, or medical stores with valid pharmacy licenses on Form 9. The pharmacy must be located within Sahiwal District as per Latest Local Purchase Guidelines 2026. Bidders are required to submit 2% bid security in the form of CDR, Pay Order, or Demand Draft from any Scheduled Bank of Pakistan. Applicants must provide copy of CNIC, valid pharmacy license holder certificate, pharmacist registration certificate in Category-A, Sales Tax and Income Tax registration certificates, and bank statements for the last one to two years. A Rs. 100 affidavit confirming the firm is not blacklisted and has not faced penalties or violations under the Drug Act 1976 or DRAP Act 2012 is mandatory. Experience certificates from public hospitals and warranty certificates as per Drug Act clause 23(1)(i) are required.
Bidding documents are available online via the Punjab e-Procurement System and on the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority website www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk. Bids must be submitted online by 09:00 AM on 18 July 2026, with opening scheduled for 09:30 AM the same day at the office of the Medical Superintendent. Bidders should submit their best and final prices as no negotiations are expected. Taxes will be deducted as per applicable government rules.
