Description / Scope of Work
Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology, Rawalpindi invites sealed electronic bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of plant and machinery to meet the requirements of RIC Rawalpindi and NSCC Samli Murree for the financial year 2026-27. This annual tender covers multiple categories of equipment and machinery essential for the operation of the cardiology institute and the National Specialised Centre for Cardiac Care facility located in Murree, Punjab. The bidding process is conducted in accordance with Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 (amended) and Punjab Procurement Regulations 2024, ensuring transparent and competitive procurement.
Eligible bidders must be registered with relevant tax departments of the Government of Pakistan. Bidders are required to provide bid security equivalent to 2 percent of the estimated cost of quoted items or lots in the form of Bank Draft, Bank Guarantee, Call Deposit Receipt, Demand Draft, Pay Order, or Banker's cheque made payable to Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology. The original bid security must be submitted on or before the time of e-bid opening in addition to soft copies uploaded on the Punjab E-Procurement System portal. Bid validity period is 180 days from the date of bid opening. All items must be quoted in technical and financial proposals with both brand names and generic names clearly specified.
Bidding documents containing detailed specifications and terms and conditions are available for download from Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority website at http://ppra.punjab.gov.pk, Punjab E-Procurement System at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk, and RIC website at www.ric.gop.pk. Electronic bids must be submitted online on or before 18 July 2026 at 10:00 AM through the Punjab E-Procurement System. Bids will be opened on the same day at 10:30 AM in the presence of bidders' representatives. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 11 July 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Purchase Office of RIC Rawalpindi.
