Description / Scope of Work
The Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Layyah invites sealed electronic bids from registered engineering firms and contractors for de-silting of sewerage lines through winch machine in multiple mohallas of Layyah City including Mohalla Eid Gah, Wahgay Wala, Guryani Wala, Housing-II, and Housing-III. The estimated cost of this sewerage maintenance project is Rs. 9.897 Million with a completion period of 120 days. This tender is being floated under the Single Stage Two Envelope system as per Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) e-tendering guidelines and rules.
Intending contractors and engineering firms must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council at category C-6 or above and shall be registered on the Punjab EPADS website (www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk). All bidders are required to submit earnest money (bid security) in the form of a CDR (Certified Deposit Receipt) in favour of the Director Finance WASA Layyah at the rate of 5 percent of the estimated cost, amounting to Rs. 0.495 Million. Original CDR must be submitted in an envelope clearly marked with the tender title before the e-Bid submission deadline at the office of the Deputy Director (Engineering) WASA Layyah. Rates must be quoted in figures as well as words against each item of the DNIT instead of percentage.
Bids prepared in accordance with bidding document instructions must be submitted on e-PADs before 23-07-2026 at 12:00 PM. Technical bids will be opened on the same day at 12:30 PM on the e-PADS portal. Only technically responsive bidders will qualify for financial bid opening. The financial bids will be opened after evaluation of technical bids with date and time intimated separately on e-PADS. Bids remain valid for 120 days. Bidders must submit e-bids by uploading PDF files on E-PADs as per PPRA Regulations 2024.
