Description / Scope of Work
The Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) through its Wood Working Service Centre (WWSC) in Rawalpindi is inviting prequalification applications from manufacturers for the financial year 2026-27. WWSC Rawalpindi, operating under TEVTA's administrative control, is engaged in technical training, provision of common facilities and advisory services to the furniture industry. The centre maintains a mini production line to provide hands-on training to students in a real factory floor environment and supplies manufacturing outputs to government departments, offices, schools, colleges and universities across Pakistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir. The procurement scope encompasses natural wood materials including logs, planks and beadings, wood and steel furniture and fixture components, and other inputs required for production activities on both made-to-order and store stock bases.
Applicant manufacturers must meet specified prequalification criteria to be eligible for consideration. Interested manufacturers are required to submit complete prequalification documents as outlined in the tender documentation. The prequalification process is designed to assess the technical capacity, financial stability, experience and capabilities of manufacturers seeking to supply goods and services to WWSC Rawalpindi for the 2026-27 fiscal year.
Detailed instructions for applicants, eligibility requirements, and required documentation forms are provided in the prequalification documents. Manufacturers should carefully review all sections including the invitation to prequalification, instructions to applicants, and annexures containing application forms. All applications must be submitted in accordance with the specified procedures and timelines.
